About Us
FNQ Growers is the leading advocacy group for fruit and vegetable growers in Far North Queensland.
We represent growers of all horticultural commodities in Far North Queensland from Lakeland in the north, south to Tully and west to Georgetown, on the issues at the heart of the growth and development of their farming businesses and the industries that support the rural and regional communities in the region.
We do this by:
Serving our grower-members to assist them to improve their profitability and productivity, and that of the region’s industry.
Advocating on behalf of the industry to all levels of government (Federal, State and Local) on issues critical to the sustainability of the region’s industry.
Educating, engaging and informing the public and consumer about our industry, highlights and challenges, through traditional media outlets and social media.
We pride ourselves on having a voice at the table where and when things matter to ensure our grower-members are heard on topics relevant to our industries including water, electricity reform, freight, labour and access to markets.
